The system will provide timely and accurate information on soil, crop, weather, water resources and pest monitoring to local farmers through remote sensing and geospatial technologies, as well as minimize the role of middlemen through effective marketing systems.  By establishing land information management system, farmers will also get direct access to markets. Under “Lams” agricultural production will be made possible through the use of modern technology on uninhabited and low-yielding agricultural lands.
