Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has started the CM Punjab Electric Motorcycle Loan Scheme of giving motorcycles as Eid gifts to 20 thousand students in the province. Chief Minister’s Youth initiative to give 20,0000 Motorbikes to Students (Male & Female) in 1st Phase.

Where to Register for Interest-Free Bike Scheme?

College and University Regular Students can be registered for the CM Punjab Electric Motorcycle Loan Scheme at the web portal www.bikes.punjab.gov.pk. The last date to Apply Online is 29th April 2024.

It was decided to start the registration of the project of 20 thousand electric and petrol motorcycles to the students in easy installments and without interest. The Punjab government also announced to give electric motorcycles to teachers.

The provincial government will provide electric bikes to 15,000 teachers in three phases so that due to the rising prices of petroleum products, the cost of teachers coming to school can be reduced. In this phase, 5,000 teachers will be given electric bikes.

Which Students are Eligible for Motorcycle Scheme?

The Punjab government has invited applications for the provision of motorbikes to the students under the Youth Initiative of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. In the first phase, bikes will be distributed to 20,000 students from Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur and Rawalpindi.

Eligibility Criteria for Interest Free Bike Scheme?

• Students of College and University who are enrolled in  Any Degree on Regular basis.
• Valid Motorcycle Driving Lisence.
• Age more than 18 years.

Electric Motorcycle Loan Scheme First Phase

In the first phase, the Punjab government will provide 1,000 e-bikes and 19,000 petrol bikes and a subsidy of Rs 1 billion will be provided in the form of down payments and installments to facilitate the students. Successful applicants will have to pay in 24 monthly installments.

A bike scheme portal has been started for university students, 19,000 petrol bikes and 1000 e-bikes are included in the scheme. The government will also pay 20 thousand down payment on behalf of the students, while the markup on monthly installments will also be paid by the Punjab government and will give a subsidy of one billion rupees on this project.

How to Apply Online for Motorcycle Scheme?

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has announced to give twenty thousand bikes to the students and you can apply Online at www.bop.gov.pk. 2,000 electric bikes will be given to government employees, 2,000 electric bikes will be given to women in government and private jobs.

Students taking a motorcycle will be able to pay 11 thousand 676 rupees and female students 7 thousand 325 rupees monthly easy installments. Interested students can submit applications till 29th April.

What is the Interest Free Bike Scheme?

Punjab government has decided to give electric motorcycles to students of universities and colleges. These bikes will be given to the students at a discounted rate through Lucky Draw . Bank of Punjab will provide financial support to the provincial government for this scheme.

On the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the authorities have started work on the project of providing electric and petrol motorcycles to students without interest in easy installments. Under this project, 20 thousand electric motorcycles will be given to students across the province.

The monthly installment will be less than 5 thousand rupees, the students will pay the installment less than 5 thousand rupees per month, the down payment of the bikes will be paid by the government, the students will become the owners of the bikes in less than two years.

A separate scheme will be introduced in this regard for students who have achieved significant success in the examinations

Punjab Interest-free Electric Bikes

10,000 electric bikes will be given to students free of interest on easy terms, 10,000 electric rickshaws will also be given free of interest with the support of Punjab Bank, besides, 2,000 electric three-wheeler bikes will be given to special people free of interest.

For the scheme, online applications will be taken from the students and then bikes will be allotted to them through a lottery. The ratio of male and female students will be kept equal in the draw.

Electric bike Lucky Draw Result 

Punjab government is going to start this program in collaboration with Bank of Punjab, in which the monthly installment of an electric bike will be kept less than 5 thousand and the advance amount will be taken only up to 25 thousand. will be distributed through distribution. This draw will be held in May 2024.
