ISLAMABAD: State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has introduced more than a dozen security features to check the authenticity of the fake currency notes of Rs 5000 after the news.

According to SBP, special security features on the front and back of the 5000 currency note will make it easier to identify the original note, such as a color-changing flag that changes color when viewed from different angles, and 5,000 in the security thread. Digit Optical Variables will help verify the authenticity of the ink used.

These security features include crescent and five-pointed star, illuminated numeral with Quaid-e-Azam’s image and large numeral, changing color of the flag and yellow and blue bright stripes in the security thread, numeral worth Rs.5,000. can be seen and apart from the picture of Quaid-i-Azam seen on the side of the light, there is also a figure of five thousand in Urdu visible across.
