PITBP Awqaf Punjab Online Donation Portal in Pakistan

Lahore: Awqaf and Religious Affairs Department Government of  Punjab has started digitization of shrines, domestic and foreign devotees will be able to submit online donations to shrines through “Nazarana Online”. With this modern system, the collection of offerings will be more transparent, the money received from inside and outside the country through online donation will be spent on the construction and development of shrines and the welfare of pilgrims. Nazrana Online website has been given in-principle approval to facilitate online sadaqat and donations at major shrines and darbars across Punjab.

The holy shrines are a source of spiritual comfort and a source of scientific and religious research. It is the responsibility of the department to maintain their scientific and religious status. The current government believes in the survival and revival of Islamic values, for which all resources are utilized.

Effective strategies have been formulated for the security of shrines and surveillance, monitoring and supervision of Waqf properties. A separate website will be created for Darbar Hazrat Dataganj Bakhsh, Hazrat Baba Balhe Shah, Hazrat Baba Faridganj Shukar and other shrines.Punjab Information Technology Board was given the task of developing the website. Online donations and donations can be made through the website. People residing abroad will also be able to distribute langar, distribution of langar can be seen live.

Donations can be transferred through mobile banking, credit card and ATM. The mausoleum of Hazrat Baba Balhe Shah will be redesigned, the complex of the mausoleum of Baba Farid Ganj Shakar will be expanded. Parking and anchorage will be arranged in the basement to solve the traffic problems. Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has directed to speed up the work on the mausoleums of Hazrat Pir Makki and Waris Shah.
