ECP National and Provincial Assemblies By-Elections Result 2024

The Election Commission of Pakistan will organize By-elections of five NA and 16 provincial assembly constituencies on April 21, 2024. ECP will Declare the Unofficial result on the official website www.ecp.gov.pk.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has set up a monitoring and control center for the convenience of the people in the upcoming by-elections.

The ECP has set up an Election Monitoring and Control Centre (EMCC) keeping in view the convenience of the public in the by-elections 2024, which will allow the public to contact and register their complaints regarding the elections.

Mobile phone and internet services will be suspended in 13 cities of Punjab on the occasion of by-elections to five and 16 provincial assembly constituencies to be held today.

These elections encompass six National Assembly seats, twelve Punjab Assembly seats, two seats in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, one seat in the Sindh Assembly and two seats in the Balochistan Assembly.

Punjab Assembly by-elections Result

A total of 174 candidates are in the fray in the by-elections to 12 provincial constituencies from Punjab, where the number of voters is 4,044,552, and 2,601 polling stations have been set up in Punjab. 50 candidates are contesting for vacant National Assembly seats.

Polling will be held in one national assembly constituency and four provincial assembly constituencies in Lahore. In NA-119, nine candidates, including Ali Pervaiz and Shahzad Farooq, are in the fray, while 11 candidates, including PML-N candidates Malik Riaz and Muhammad Khan Madani, are in the fray.

A total of 14 candidates, including Muhammad Shoaib Siddiqui and Qaiser Shahzad of The Stability Pakistan Party, are in the fray from PP-149, while 22 candidates, including PML-N’s Chaudhry Nawaz and Sunni Ittehad Council’s Moonis Elahi, are in the fray from PP-158.

A total of 174 candidates are in the fray in the by-elections to 12 provincial constituencies from Punjab, where the number of voters is 4,044,552 and 2,601 polling stations have been set up in Punjab. Pml-N leader Rashid Minhas and Sunni Ittehad Council’s Muhammad Yousuf are among 20 candidates in the fray from PP-164.

In Sindh, two candidates are in the fray in NA-196, 423,781 voters will exercise their franchise and 303 polling stations have been set up here, out of which 158 are sensitive.

Balochistan Assembly by-elections Result

In Balochistan, by-elections will be held in two provincial constituencies 20 and 22, 396,246 voters will exercise their franchise in the province, 354 polling stations have been set up.

Campaigning time for candidates for by-elections in 21 constituencies across the country has ended. According to the Election Commission, all preparations have been completed for the by-election, election materials have been delivered to the polling stations while additional forces will be deployed at sensitive polling stations.

During the by-elections, services will remain suspended in Lahore, Sheikhupura, Kasur, DG Khan, Talagang, Gujrat, Alipur, Zafarwal, Bhakkar, Chakwal, Sadiqabad, Alipur Chattha and Kot Chattha.

ECP Control centers

Control centers have been set up at 4 levels for the registration and prompt resolution of public grievances. Control rooms have been set up at provincial, divisional and district levels in addition to the Election Commission Secretariat Islamabad.
