FIFA Women’s International window Friendly Matches 2023 Schedule

KARACHI: Government of Pakistan has issued NOC to the national women’s football team for the tour of Singapore. Earlier, the Pakistan Sports Board had excused itself from issuing NOCs to play international friendly leagues against Singapore under the FIFA International Window.

Pakistan women football team will play friendly matches against Singapore next month. The Pakistan Football Federation has finalized arrangements with the Football Association of Singapore for the matches in next month’s FIFA Women’s International window.

Pakistan and Singapore women teams will play 2 matches between July 13 and 19. The normalization committee of Pakistan Football Federation will officially announce the matches after the Eid holidays.

The camp of Pakistan Women’s Football Team is going on in Karachi to prepare for the matches. Aqsa Mushtaq, who plays football in Britain, is also likely to join the Pakistan team. Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) said that all documents for NOC must be sent 6 weeks before the event, later after high-level contacts, the Federal Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination issued the NOC on Thursday.

Earlier, the Pakistan Women’s Football Team was scheduled to leave for Singapore on Thursday. According to Pakistan Football Federation’s normalization sources, the flight seats for the departure of the national team were canceled yesterday, but now on the next available flight. Departure to Singapore will be made possible. There is still a question mark over the scheduled matches in the league on July 15 and 18, following the latest situation, the Singapore Football Federation has instructed the Pakistan team to arrive on time.
