ULC Ramadan Relief Package 2023 Price List

ISLAMABAD: More than 4,000 utility stores across the country will be provided relief on 19 basic necessities under the Ramadan relief package this year. Under this package, the public can get a subsidy of up to Rs 3,000 from the branches of utility stores across the country by showing their national identity card.

ULC Ramadan Relief Package 2023 Price List

According to the announcement, the price of 20 kg bag of wheat flour in the open market will be around Rs. 1100 to 1350, while under the package, consumers will be provided 20 kg bag of wheat flour at Rs. Sugar will be available at Rs 86-93 in the open market. The price of one kg of subsidized ghee in utility stores is Rs 260, while in the open market edible ghee is Rs 470. During Ramadan, the price of a liter of oil in stores will be Rs 407 instead of Rs 494.

 

 

The federal government has announced 2.5 billion for the Ramadan package and 19 items are subsidized on the retail. The complete rate list is available at www.usc.org.pk. Ramadan packages are available at attractive rates including palm, rice, basin, tea, and pulses, while new rates are applied to utility stores today on Friday.

Utility Stores Corporation (ULC) Ramadan Relief Package 2022

According to the announcement, under the Ramadan relief package, white gram sold in the open market at Rs 250-260 per kg will be available at utility stores at Rs 213, basin at Rs 170 instead of Rs 190-220, one kg of dal. Chana will be available at Rs 162, Dal Mong at Rs 170 per kg, Dal Mash at Rs 268, Dal Masoor at Rs 215 and high quality dates at Rs 140 per kg at all stores.

The Cabinet Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has approved a Rs 2.5 billion Ramadan relief package. The Ramadan Relief Package of Rs 2.5 billion has been approved at the ECC meeting chaired by Sher Haq Abdul Hafiz Sheikh under which Ninteen items will be subsidized at utility stores.

Ramadan Relief Package 2021 Rate List

A monitoring mechanism regarding the availability of items at the utility stores will be put in place at the district level. The USC is providing clean, graded, hygienically fit, unadulterated genuine food and non-food items to the public and especially to the poorer segments of the society, at comparatively cheaper rates than the market and to offer them a pleasant environment of mutual confidence while making their purchases.

It is also committed to its obligation to provide economic relief to the public by playing its role as a price moderator and deterrent to profiteering, hoarding and black-marketing. The Utility Stores Corporation will increase the number of mobile stores for the convenience of the people under this Ramadan relief package, which aims to bring essential items from the market to the doorsteps of the people at discounted rates.
