KPK Government increased the incentive allowance Notification

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved a 25 percent increase in the salaries of government employees. The government gave this approval through Ad Hoc Relief Allowance from 1st July 2024.

An increase of 25 percent has been made on the basic ongoing pay for employees in grades one to 16. Similarly, a 20 percent increase has been approved for officers in grades 17 to 22.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had increased the salaries of employees by only 10 percent in the budget, however, following the pattern of the Center and other provinces, it has now been increased up to 25 percent, for which approval will be sought from the provincial assembly to amend the Finance Bill 2024.

This allowance from the government for grade 17 will be one lakh to two and a half lakh, for grade sixteen it will be 75 thousand to one and a half lakh, and for grade eleven to fifteen the allowance will be 60 thousand rupees. Similarly, for grade five to ten thousand, 50 thousand and grade one to four employees will get this allowance of Rs 35000. The increased allowance will be applicable from October 1, 2022.
