Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has inaugurated the Chung Chi Rickshaw Registration Program across Punjab. Electric rickshaw making was formally started in Punjab, for which Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi gave the first license to the CEO of the manufacturer company. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi also saw the exhibition of electric motorbikes rickshaws and vehicles and rode in the electric rickshaw while praising the quality of the electric rickshaw. For the first time in the history of Pakistan, 26 thousand electric motorbikes and rickshaws will be given to the people free of interest.

Chung Chee Rickshaw Registration Program in Punjab

The Punjab government will provide 10,000 electric bikes to male and female students with the support of Bank of Punjab on easy terms, while 10,000 electric rickshaws will also be provided with the support of Punjab Bank.

Special persons will be given 2 thousand electric three-wheeler bikes free of interest while government employees will be given 2 thousand electric bikes free of interest. Similarly, 2,000 electric bikes will be given to women in government and private jobs. A government-level ban has been imposed on the purchase of petrol-powered motorcycles across Punjab. Government departments will be able to buy only electric bikes in future.

CM Mohsin Naqvi also formally announced the implementation of Chung Chi Rickshaw Body Standers Program. The Chief Minister said that the transport department had worked hard to implement the registration of Chung Chi Rickshaws. Everyone used to say, it is not possible to register Chung Chi rickshaws, but the transport department has made the impossible possible. All initiatives of the Transport Department are exemplary. Mohsin Naqvi appreciated the support of Bank of Punjab in the program of free supply of electric motorbikes and electric rickshaws. The Chief Minister saw the display of electric motorbikes, rickshaws and vehicles, inquired about the cost and durability.
