The interested candidates should fill the admission form available on KMU Portal (https://pgadmissions.kmu.edu.pk) and should upload all the relevant documents on or before closing date. The candidate will have to deposit Rs.3000/- through bank Challan generated after online registration and upload a scan copy of the deposit slip with application.

Institute of Pathology & Diagnostic Medicine (IP&DM) MPhil Microbiology

Eligibility Criteria Basic Medical Sciences:

1. MBBS/BDS/MD registered by (PM&DC) is eligible to apply for admission in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology and histopathology for all others in addition the following disciplines may apply.

2.   In addition to Serial No 1 the following are eligible to apply for each program detailed below.

a Microbiology BS 4years Microbiology MLT, and Biotechnology OR MS/MSc (Microbiology)

Eligibility criteria is a minimum of cumulative 50% marks (Annual System) or a CGPA of 2.0 (out of 4.00 in Semester System) from HEC recognized, university/degree awarding institution.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0 in the Semester System) or First Division in Annual System.
2. Institutional Graduate Entry Test (IGET) in the relevant discipline with passing grade of 60%.

MPhil/FCPS and equivalent degree in relevant field from HEC recognized, university/degree awarding institution. Students whose CGPA is below 3 (out of 4 in semester system) or lesser than 60% marks in annual system shall study additional course of 9 to 12 Credit Hours of level 7 in addition to any other requirements set for admission.
