Eligibility Criteria

PHEC Best Research Article and Book Award is not just a recognition; it’s a celebration of dedication, innovation, and the relentless pursuit of knowledge. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR AWARD
i. The applicant/publication has not received such an award for the same publication.
ii. Applicant / Author’s credit is not plagiarized as per HEC plagiarism policy.
iii. The publication must be a scholarly book or journal article.
iv. For the award of 2024, only the research output of 2021, 2022 and 2023 will be considered.
v. The publication must be as a main author or corresponding author.
vi. The only research output with Pakistani affiliation will be considered for this award.
vii. The publication must be written by no more than three authors.
viii. Books must be published by a recognized academic publisher listed in the SENSE
list of academic publishers and other leading publishers.
ix. Research articles only published in a W-category journal or above in the HEC Journal Recognition System (H JRS) are eligible.

PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION
The prescribed application Proforma and Instructions are available on the PHEC website www.punjabhec.gov.pk.

The duly filled Proforma endorsed by the Vice Chancellor / Head of the Institution of the Principal Investigator must reach up to February 13,2024 through registered post to the address listed below. Application submitted by hand will not be accepted.
