International Volunteer Day CERTs Challenge 2023

International Volunteer Day challenge has started in Rescue Academy Lahore. The mission of Rescue 1122 is to save lives, promote positive thinking and promote a culture of safety, without volunteers we cannot realize the dream of creating a safe society. The message of peace and safety is to be spread not only in Pakistan, but in the whole world, let’s pledge that we will do practical work to make our area clean, green and safe. We wish you all success in the challenge.

International Volunteer Day CERTs Challenge 2023

59 teams are participating in the 3-day challenge, today there are 20 teams competing, in addition to the Chinese team in the challenge today, Al Khidmat Foundation, Gift University, Oxford Medical College, Sialkot Warden, Women’s College Kasur, Vt. I and Golden Pearl teams are included. In order to enhance Emergency Preparedness of Communities, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) have been established in all Union Councils of Punjab, Universities and other organizations of Pakistan. 7th International Volunteer Day CERTs Challenge is going to be organized to assess, analyze, evaluate and acknowledge the best CERTs of the Year 2023. Last date to submit Nominations is 17th November 2023.

• Community Triage (CQRST)
• Shifting of Victims(Emergency /Non-Emergency Moves)
• Management of Fire Emergencies /Management of Water/Flood Emergencies /A
• Basic Search and Rescue Techniques
• Lifting and Stabilizing Heavy Load
• Dead Body Management
• Basic Rescue Knots
