ICC T20 World Cup 2026 Teams

The International Cricket Council has confirmed the qualified teams for T20 World Cup 2026. According to ICC, Pakistan is also included in the qualifying teams for T20 World Cup 2026. Pakistan qualified directly for the World Cup 2026 based on better ranking in T20 format.

A total of 12 teams have directly qualified for T20 World Cup 2026. Apart from hosts Sri Lanka and India, Afghanistan also qualified, other teams include Australia, South Africa, Bangladesh, England, West Indies, USA, Ireland and New Zealand. A total of 20 teams will be in action in the T20 World Cup 2026, while the remaining 8 teams will be selected through regional qualifiers like the previous T20 World Cup.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the T20 World Cup 2024 schedule, according to which arch-rivals India and Pakistan will face each other on June 9 in New York.

The first match of T20 World Cup 2024 jointly hosted by USA and West Indies will be played on June 1, while the final will be played on June 29.

The T20 World Cup will be played jointly in the West Indies and the United States, the United States will host a total of 16 matches in Florida, Texas and New York.
