Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Solar System Free of Cost Apply Online

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will distribute the solar panels from August 14, 2024. Citizens who are consuming up to 200 units of electricity will be able to get free solar panels from August 14. The consumers of more than 200 and up to 500 units will get solar panels on payment of 10% compensation, the supply of solar panels will be done through banks.

It was approved to provide solar home solutions to protected consumers of up to 100 units across Punjab, while the Chief Minister said that in the next two months, another big project is being launched to give relief to the public in electricity bills.

How Check Eligibility

Eligibility for the scheme will be checked by sending the bill reference number and computerized identity card number to 8800. Successful users will be notified through SMS after the PITB draw. District Administration and DISCOS (Distribution Company) will verify the details of the successful user in the draw. The solar panel and system will have a bar code and QR code to protect the panels from being sold in the scheme market. In the first phase, more than one lakh consumers will be given solar panels through Lucky Draw.

How are not eligible

Customers with electricity theft, more than one meter, damaged or tampered meter, and non-payment of bills will not be eligible for the solar scheme. The scope of the solar panel financing scheme will be gradually expanded.

The government of Punjab has decided to give free solar to those who use 200 units of electricity. According to sources, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has issued orders to the relevant authorities to give relief to the people.  The Punjab government has decided to give interest-free solar loans to consumers using 200 to 500 units across the province. The government will pay up to 75% of the amount for installing solar to up to 500 customers.

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has issued instructions in this regard to the relevant authorities. Maryam Nawaz said that there is a lot of pain due to the rising electricity bills, I am with the poor, I will always stand for their rights. He further said that he should be aware of the problems of the poor after seeing the rising electricity bills.

CM Roshan Gharana Programme

Chief Minister Roshan Gharana Programme 2024 is Launched in Punjab. It is the revolutionary program of Bill Najat Roshni. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif announced to giving of 50 thousand solar systems across Punjab.

In the first phase, complete solar systems are being provided free of cost to domestic consumers consuming up to 100 units of electricity, while all the installation costs are being paid by the Punjab government.

It will be able to operate fans, lights, and small motors, while the battery can get backed up for up to 16 hours.  A solar system will include an advanced solar plate, inverter, battery, and other systems.

Eligibility Criteria:

Under Chief Minister Roshan Gharana’s program, in the first phase, 50,000 protected consumers with 100 units will be given solar systems through a lottery.

Through the Apna Chhat and Apna Ghar program, every poor person will be provided with a house, while the government will also provide loans to the citizens for the construction of a five-marla house.

Punjab government has decided to give free solar systems to domestic consumers under the Rosh Gharana scheme, in the meeting presided over by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, it was decided that in the first phase, 50 thousand protected consumers with 100 units will be given solar systems through lottery.

The Punjab government will allocate 12.6 billion rupees for the first phase of solar system supply. The scope of solar systems will be gradually expanded for domestic consumers.

The facility will be provided which will include a solar plate, inverter, battery, and other equipment.
