In the present Asian Under-21 Snooker Championship in Iran, Pakistan’s Ahsan Ramzan defeated India’s Digvijay Kadian to go to the semifinals. Ahsan Ramzan of Pakistan overcame his jitters against his Indian opponent in the ongoing match in Tehran and came back from a 3-2 deficit to win 3-4.

Ahsan seized the lead in the best-of-seven frames quarterfinal by winning the opening two frames (19-76 and 36-76), but India’s Digvijay Kadian subsequently won three straight frames to make the score 3-2. As a result, Ahsan Ramzan maintained composure, won the match 3-4 with scores of 27-65 and 9-70, and advanced to the semifinals. Ahsan won this match with a score of 19-76, 36-76, 67-35, 63-31, 72-55, 27-65, and 9-70.
