ICC Test, ODI & T20 Ranking 2023

During the World Cup 2023, ICC has released a new ODI ranking in which Pakistan team captain Babar Azam is still at the first place among the batsmen. Captain Babar Azam is at the first position with 898 ranking points, while opener Imamul Haq has moved down one rank to the sixth position with 728 ranking points. Australian opener David Warner snatched the fifth position from Imam-ul-Haq. National team opener Fakhar Zaman has also slipped down one place to 11th position. Indian team batsman Shubman Gill is at the second position in the rankings.

ICC has also released the list of the best bowlers in which Australia’s Josh Hazlewood is on the first position with 692 points, followed by Mitchell Starr of Australia. New Zealand’s Trent Boult snatched the third position from Australia’s Adam Zampa, bringing him to the fourth position and himself to the third position. Yadav has also moved up a rank to number seven, while Rashid Khan has slipped one rank and moved from seventh to eighth. India’s Siraj is ranked ninth and Pakistan’s Shaheen Shah Afridi is ranked tenth.

ICC T20 Ranking 2023

In the list of all-rounders, the first place is held by Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh, second is Muhammad Nabi of Afghanistan, third is Sikandar Raza of Zimbabwe, fourth is Rashid Khan of Afghanistan, fifth is Asad Wala of Papua New Guinea. India’s Hardik Pandya has improved by one place to sixth place. In the bowling ranking, India’s Muhammad Siraj and Australian bowler Josh Hazlewood have equal points, but in terms of performance, Muhammad Siraj is first with 669 points and Josh Hazlewood is second. National team fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi after 2 ranks. 632 points have come to the sixth position.

The rankings for T20I batters place Aaron Finch third and Lokesh Rahul fourth, with Colin Monroe, Glenn Maxwell, Hazrat Zazai, Avon Lewis, Virat Kohli, and Avon Morgan rounding out the top 10. While no Pakistani bowler is in the top 10, South African spinner Tabriz Shamsi has climbed three spots to the second-best rank of his career behind Rashid Khan.

Kane Williamson, the captain of New Zealand, is still ranked first, followed by Steve Smith in second place, Marinus Lubshin in third, Jorot in fourth, Virat Kohli in fifth, Babar Azam in sixth, and Henry Knuckles in seventh. David Warner has climbed to the eighth spot, and Chatishore Pujara has dropped two spots to the tenth spot.

The top six bowlers on the list have not changed, but Chris Broad, a fellow fast bowler from England, has been replaced by James Anderson, who has moved up one spot to seventh. Jaspreet Bhamra of India has climbed ten spots to reclaim the top ten. have joined and hold the ninth-place position with 760 points.
