Islamabad: President Dr. Arif Alvi approved the Maternity and Paternity Leave Bill 2023. According to the bill, employees of federal institutions will be able to take maternity leave with full pay three times in service.

All public and private institutions under the management of the federal government will be punished with imprisonment up to 6 months or fine up to one lakh rupees or both.
