Get ready, The Sindh government is organizing the Sindh Games, The fans are eager because the open fields are being decorated in Karachi from 23rd to 26th February. The young athletes will demonstrate their skills in various parts of the Sindh Games 2024, full of passion and excitement, which will make the country and the nation famous all over the world. It will be for the promotion of sports. Sindh Games proved to be an important milestone.
18th Sindh Games 2024 date
Sindh Games 2024 will start from 23rd to 26th February 2024 at National sports training and coaching centre. Four thousand athletes from all the six divisions of the province will take part in the games which will continue till 26th Feb 24. The provincial sports department is organized the games in collaboration with Sindh Olympic Association (SOA).
Sindh Games 2024 Schedule
The 18th Sindh Games were delayed for five years. The last time the Games were held in 2018.But the provincial caretaker sports minister, youth affairs and culture.
Sindh Games 2024 Winners
Amin Imtiaz has won Sindh Games bodybuilding championship event of more than 85 kg weight in the batting. Karachi Division has won the 18th Sindh Games. 5000 athletes has participated in the Sindh Games from Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Mirpurkhas, Larkana and Benazirabad.
Junaid Baloch, the fastest male athlete of the province, and Safinaz, the fastest female athlete, won 3 and 3 gold medals respectively. In the women’s show, Hina and Ayman from Karachi won gold, Umm Hatani and Ishal from Larkana won silver, Fatima and Amina Faiz from Benazirabad and Hasna and Arisha from Hyderabad won bronze medals.
Karachi won the JUSTO Championship by bagging 7 gold medals, Hyderabad got the second position and Sukkur got the third position. Hyderabad division won the Judo Championship with 4 gold medals, Karachi division got second position with 1 gold and 3 silver medals.
Karachi Basketball Association (KBBA) President and Sindh Games Basketball Event Organizing Secretary Ghulam Mohammad Khan has announced the complete program of the event, draws and manager meeting on February 23 at 7:30 at the International Abdul Nasir Basketball Court. The Sindh Games will start on February 24 at 3:00 pm while the third position and final matches will be played on February 25 at 04:00 pm.
The closing ceremony of the four-day Games will be held on Monday at the PSB Coaching Centre, preceded by the finals of the men’s and women’s 4 by 100 relay races. Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh Justice (Rtd) Maqbool will be the special guest on this occasion.
