For the first time in the history of the country, free provision of customized wheelchairs is being started by Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal under the ongoing plan for rehabilitation and improvement of poor, helpless, and deserving disabled persons of the country.
Under this program, people with disabilities will be provided with customized wheelchairs that are compatible with their physical disabilities free of charge at home.

Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM), an autonomous body set up through the 1991 Act. PBM is significantly contributing toward poverty alleviation through its various poorest of the poor focused services and providing assistance to destitute, widow, orphan, invalid, infirm & other needy persons, as per eligibly criteria approved by Bait-ul-Mal Board.
