KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule of the Test and T20 series in New Zealand. The Cricket Board has announced the schedule and venues for the two-Test, three-match T20 series between Pakistan and New Zealand in the ICC World Test Championship, with two Test matches to be played at Mount Mangnoi and Christchurch.
The series between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played in the presence of spectators. Ticket sales have started. The first international series in New Zealand after the coronavirus will be in November in which the West Indies will play 3 T20 and 2 Test matches, followed by the Pakistan team on December 18, 20, and 22. Pak vs NZ two Tests after three T20 matches, the first on December 26 and the second on January 3, 2021.
Confirming the tour of New Zealand, the Pakistan Cricket Board said that the Boxing Day Test match at Mount Mangnoi will continue from December 26 to 30, after which the two teams will meet in Christchurch where the second Test match of the series will be played on January 3،2021. A series of three T20 matches will also be played between Pakistan and New Zealand before the 2 Test matches. The first match of the T20 series will be played on 18th December 2020, in Auckland, the second on 20th December 2020 in Hamilton, and the third on 22nd December 2020 in Napier.
The Pakistan Shaheens will take on New Zealand A in the first four-day match on December 10, while the second long format match will start on December 17.

New Zealand Squad:
New Zealand has announced their squad for the home T20 series against Pakistan, with Mitchell Santner in the first match of the three-match series and Ken Williamson in the second and third T20s. The Kiwis squad includes Martin Guptill, Scott Keglin, Glenn Phillips, Ash Sodhi, Tim Seifert, Todd Astle, Doug Bracewell, Mark Chapman, Devon Conway, Jacob Duffy, and Blair Tucker.
Loki Ferguson and Hamish Bennett have been ruled out due to unfit matches, while Trent Bolt, Tim Southee, Kyle Jamie Sun, and Daryl Mitchell have been ruled out of the first T20 match due to a West Indies Test match. The first T20 and then ODI series against Pakistan and New Zealand will be played, the first T20 match will be played on December 18 in Auckland, the second match on December 20 in Hamilton, and the third match on December 22 in Napier.

The Pakistan squad will leave Lahore for New Zealand on 23rd November 2020. The national squad will complete its 14-day quarantine in Lincoln. In the meantime, the squad will have to live in a biosecure bubble while they will not be able to participate in any cricket activities, but after 14 days of quarantine, this bubble will end. Before flying to New Zealand, the national players and support staff will take 19 Tests in Lahore.
Pakistani T20 Squad against New Zealand:
Pakistan Cricket Board has announced an 18-member squad for the T20 against New Zealand. The team will be led by Babar Azam and vice-captain Shadab Khan. Sarfraz Ahmed and Hussain Talat have returned to the T20 squad. Mohammad Rizwan, Haider Ali, Mohammad Hafeez, Iftikhar Ahmad, Khushdal Shah, Hussain Talat, Mohammad Hasnain, Haris Rauf, Shaheen Afridi, Usman Qadir, Wahab Riaz, Fahim Ashraf, Emad Wasim, and Abdullah Shafiq are also in the squad. The T20 series between Pakistan and New Zealand will start on December 18.
The first T20 match between Pakistan Shaheens and New Zealand XI will be played on December 23 while the second match will be played against Northern Knights on December 27. The third match is scheduled against Wellington Firebirds on December 29 and the fourth against Canterbury Kings on January 1. The fifth match is to be played against New Zealand XI on January 3, while Pakistan Shaheens will once again face the same opponent on January 5.
A 16-member squad for the four-day match against New Zealand A has also been announced. The team will be captained by Rohail Nazir. Imran Butt, Imamul Haq, Zeeshan Malik, Shaun Masood, Abid Ali, Azhar Ali, Yasir Shah, Sohail Khan, Emad Butt, Haris Sohail, Fawad Alam, Muhammad Abbas, Zafar Gohar, Naseem Shah Danish Aziz are also in the team. The four-day match against Pakistan Shaheens and New Zealand A will start on December 17.
