Ministry of Education Teaching and Examination Schedule 2023

The Ministry of Education has released the teaching and examination schedule of government educational institutions. The new academic year across Punjab will start from 1st April 2024. All government schools will open from 21st August after the summer vacation.

The first term 1st exams in all classes will start and end in the third and fourth weeks of September. The second midterm exams will start in the third week of December. The annual exams for class I to VIII will start from 10th March 2024 and will be completed by 20th March.

The results of the annual examinations will be released on March 31 and the new academic year will begin from April 1. Admissions for the academic session will begin in March and continue until May 31. The second phase of admissions will be from August 15 to October 31, 2024. will be up to Free books will be provided in all government schools.
