The Holy month of Ramadan is not just a time for spiritual reflection but also a period of community support and solidarity. In Punjab, the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has introduced the Nighaban Ramadan Package 2024 to assist eligible families during this sacred time.

Now, contrary to the tradition of the former Chief Minister, only the deserving will get gift packages, this time in the month of Ramzan, 313 subsidized markets will not be opened across Punjab including Lahore.

Agriculture Fair Price Shops will be activated in model markets of Lahore, vegetables and fruits will be sold at 25% discounted price in model markets.

Verification of Benazir Income Support Program and NADRA data for Nighaban Ramadan package in Multan has been started. Ration will be delivered to 337,138 people in Multan district and 216,765 destitute people will be delivered to their homes in Khanewal district. 234,169 people in Wahari district and 136,840 people in Lodhran will be able to get the benefit.
