The Meteorological Department has forecast rain in Islamabad and Rawalpindi for the next 24 hours. Heavy rains are expected in Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Kashmir between Monday and July 22. Floods are also expected in Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and North Balochistan. Floods are also expected in Peshawar, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and other cities.
The Meteorological Department said that there may be showers with thundershowers at some places in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

Dust storms across Punjab have reduced the intensity of heat while rain is expected in several districts of Punjab today. A series of low winds from the west entered Pakistan due to which the intensity of heat decreased on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. Rain is expected in several districts of Punjab including Lahore.
Unusual winds caused the city’s temperature to drop to 35.5 degrees Celsius. The wind speed may also increase on Tuesday, but the intensity will be less than the previous day.
The weather is expected to be mild during the three days of Eid while the maximum temperature of the city may be recorded at 34 to 36 degrees Celsius.
