Usman Institute of Technology BS & BS Admission 2019 Eligibility, Admission Procedure
Usman Institute of Technology is a not-for-profit institute. UIT’s campus is located at the intersection of University Road and Abul Hasan Isphahani Road, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, Pakistan. The institute offers undergraduate studies in engineering and computer science programs
The applicant must have passed either Higher School Secondary Certificate (HSSC) Examination from any authorized Board of Intermediate Education in Pakistan or an equivalent Foreign Examination recognized as such by the University and should fulfill the following conditions:
The year of passing the examination should not be earlier than the three years prior to submission of the application.
Each applicant should have obtained at least 60% marks in aggregate excluding any grace marks. Applicants are required to either pass UIT’s Entrance Test or pass NED’s Entrance Test(applicants who pass NED’s test, but fail UIT’s test would also be eligible for admission) or score at least 800 in SAT-I and also scored at least 1500 in SAT-II with subjects of Physics / Chemistry /Computer Science and Mathematics. For admission in Engineering Programmes, subjects examined at the HSSC level must include Pre- Engineering subjects of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

Registration on Admission Portal: Register to UIT Admission Portal by entering a user ID, password, personal details and valid, in-use e-mail address. Please do not forget the user ID and password.
A link will be sent via e-mail, proceed with the rest of the online application process using that link.
Submission of Application form
Log-in to UIT Admission Portal by using user ID & password
Fill in the details and upload a recent photograph. Please note that the photograph must be clear and in white background.(see photograph specification)
Upload scanned academic documents
Submit the application by clicking the SUBMIT button.
Application processing fee
Print out the fee voucher (the system automatically generates fee voucher after submission of application)
Visit any branch of Bank Al Habib and pay admission processing fee i.e. (Rs 2,500/=)
Submit a scanned copy of the paid fee voucher through UIT Admission Portal
Issuance of Admit Card
After receiving all the information & confirmation of the fee receipt by UIT. E-mail and SMS alert will be sent to the candidates to print out the Admit card.
The entrance test will be held on 28th September 2019 i.e. Sunday at NED University of Engineering and Technology
The candidates must bring the admit card & CNIC on Entry test day
Merit List & Medical Examination
An SMS alert will be sent to all the candidates when the merit list has been announced.
Candidates can check if their name appears in the merit list on the social media page and on UIT website.
Candidates whose names are included in the Merit List shall be examined for Medical Fitness by the NED University’s Principal Medical Office (PMO).
Distribution of offer letter
Offer Letters will be generated as per the merit list.
The candidates will be asked to visit UIT to receive an offer letter at the designated time.
All the candidates have to submit enrolment fee i.e. (Rs 8,000/=) to reserve the seats at the time of receiving an admission offer letter.
Payment of Registration Fee
The candidates will pay a fee (details are given in registration form) through (system generated fee voucher) at any branch of Bank Al Habib OR submit pay order of required amount from any Bank in the favor of Usman Institute of Technology at the admission office.
Please note all the selected candidates must submit original documents & complete all the formalities before the given date to complete the registration process.
The session for your application will time-out after 10 minutes. Please ensure to save your progress after every few minutes. While filling the form, keep all your documents with you to save time.
