A leader in the domestic food industry, Unity Foods Limited (UFL) is committed to addressing the critical issue of food insecurity and malnutrition in Pakistan. The UFL has continued to implement its commitment through the ‘Sun Ridge Power Pakistan’ program by launching a massive ration donation campaign in 20,000 families in collaboration with the Governor of Sindh.

To meet the needs of disadvantaged families, Unity Foods will generously donate 20,000 ration packs from this month of June through the Governor of Sindh. Beneficiaries under this campaign will be verified in collaboration with Unity Foods and Sindh Governor’s Office. This initiative reflects Unity Foods’ commitment to ending food insecurity and its contribution to reducing hunger and reducing inequality within the United Nations Development Goals (SDGs) under the Sun Ridge Stronger Pakistan programme.
The Unity Foods and Sun Ridge Power Pakistan program 2023 aims to alleviate the hardships of the common man by providing basic ration in the form of ration packs. Today we are distributing 20,000 ration packs of 27 kg, which is enough to meet the needs of a family of five for a month. The Sun Ridge Power Pakistan Program has provided additional support to 5,000 typhoon-affected fishing families by distributing prepared food and ration packs to ensure their livelihoods and sustainable livelihoods as they are unable to go to sea during this time.
A pioneer in the food industry, Unity Foods has already made a significant impact by providing food ration packs to 45,000 families through partnership with NGOs. Active in this regard, Unity Foods is now partnering with the Governor of Sindh for its ongoing campaign ‘Sun Ridge Power Pakistan‘ under which 20,000 more ration packs will be donated. With this initiative, Unity Foods is proud to make a tangible difference in the lives of marginalized families by providing basic food to help them thrive, prosper and combat food insecurity and malnutrition in this challenging time of rising inflation.
