Excise and Taxation Punjab has launched a mobile vehicle registration facility for car owners residing in Lahore. To facilitate the vehicle registration process, the Punjab Excise Mobile Registration Service has been started from Jinnah Library Parking by bringing facilities to the citizens of Lahore at their doorstep.
After the initial session at Bagh Jinnah on March 19, the service will be started at Liberty Chowk Gulberg on March 20 and Fortress Stadium Lahore on March 21. From March 22, mobile registration service will be provided at Maulana Shaukat Ali Road Car Market in Johar Town.
Punjab Vehicle Registration Card Online Apply
The tax on registering 2500 cc automobiles used to be Rs 1.5 lakh for filers and Rs 3 lakh for non-filers starting in 2001. A fixed fee of 8% has been imposed in the budget on the registration of automobiles with displacements between 2501 and 3000 cc. The tax on registration of 2501–3000 cc automobiles used to be Rs 2 lakh for filers and Rs 4 lakh for non–filers.
Online registration of vehicles in Punjab
Punjab has established the Punjab Vehicle Registration Card/Smart Card for Vehicles (Cars, Bikes, etc.). To replace the current registration system designed to help residents, all car owners in Punjab will have a car Registration Card or Digital Vehicle Smart Card. For the registration of automobiles, the Excise and Taxation Department has begun issuing new digital smart cards. After the registration book of books is closed, Punjab will implement vehicle registration cards.
Cost of Vehicle Registration Card / Smart Card
The price of the Smart Card is Rs 520, and it has a five-year expiration date. The car registration card would include information like the owner’s name, CNIC information, chassis number, registration number, date of registration, engine number, previous registration, token tax expiration date, number of cylinders, type of body, maker’s name, class of vehicle, unladen weight, reg laden weight, tire size, front axle, rear axle, other axles, year of manufacture, seating capacity, horsepower/CC, and assessed annual tax.
How to get a Vehicle Registration Card
Owners of vehicles will have Smart Cards, new license plates, and universal numbers under the new system of vehicle registration. Once you have paid the necessary costs, all you need to do is go to the Excise office to get your card. On January 1, 2021, all records will be accessible online, and all car registrations will take place on the same day.
The registration fee for vehicles from 1501cc to 2000cc has been reduced by one percent, and the registration fee for vehicles from 1501cc to 2000cc has been reduced from 3% to 2%, for vehicles of 2001cc and more power. New wood holding tax has been implemented on new registration, and transfer.
