Due to bad weather, it has been decided to move the next match between Pakistan and India to Hambantota. The Super Four stage match between Pakistan and India is scheduled for September 10 in Colombo. All the scheduled matches will be shifted to Hambantota, the Super 4 phase will start from September 9 while the final of the Asia Cup is also scheduled to be held in Colombo.

The Meteorological Department has predicted 70% rainfall before the match scheduled on September 2 between arch-rivals Pakistan and India in the Asia Cup. Pakistan and India will compete against each other in Kandy on Saturday, but there is a possibility that the match will be affected due to rain and the practice session may also be cancelled. The Asia Cup match between Pakistan and India will be played in Kandy today, after Pakistan defeated Nepal in the opening match of the tournament.

After defeating Bangladesh, the national cricket team will leave for Colombo today for the remaining matches of the Asia Cup. In the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup, the Pakistan team will play a match against India and Sri Lanka. The final match of the Asia Cup is also in Sri Lanka. Along with Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh teams will also go to Colombo. All Asian teams will reach Colombo by chartered flight.

In the Asia Cup, Pakistan will play its second match against India on Saturday in Palekele. If the match is called off due to rain, India can beat Nepal and secure a place in the top four of the event where the two teams will face each other once again. Teams from Pakistan, India and Nepal are in Group A while teams from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan are in Group B.
