According to the administrator of examinations, University of Karachi, the results of MA first and final year private economics, international relations and history of Islam annual examinations for 2022 have been announced, in addition to the results of associate degree in science (ADS) first year annual examinations for 2022.
UOK Admission
The results have been announced, according to the results, 575 students participated in the exams, 154 students were declared successful while 421 students were declared failed. The success rate was 26.78 percent.
The University of Karachi was established through the parliament as a Federal University in 1951. However, through another act of the parliament in 1962, its status was redefined as a university of the province of Sindh.
In the entrance test for admissions under Karachi University, 89% of the candidates failed in the Master’s program while 71% failed in the Bachelor’s program. The processing fee for the entry form is Rs. 3000 and can be submitted to any branch of United Bank Ltd. through the fee voucher generated online from the web portal.
Karachi University has extended the deadline for submission of B.Com (Regular) Part-I, II, and both parts Annual Examinations 2020 examination forms and fees till March 9. Students of Part-I or II would pay Rs6,725 as a fee, while students of both parts would pay fees of Rs11,850.
The deadline for submission of registration forms for B.Com Pvt. And Improvement of Division for B.Com has been extended to March 17, 2024.
Students can submit their registration form with a fee of Rs. 4500 till March 17, 2021. Registration forms can be obtained from the Bank Booth located at Silver Jubilee Gate of Karachi University.
On 23rd October 1950, the Karachi University Act was passed and after an amendment in 1951, it was enacted, and Prof A. B. A Haleem was appointed as its first Vice-Chancellor. For the first two years, the University of Karachi remained as an examination University for the affiliated colleges. In the year 1953, it started its teaching and research activities at two Faculties of Arts and Science. Opened with an initial intake of 50 students, the university is now a sprawling structure of 53 Departments and 20 world-class and highly reputable Research Centers and Institutes, under eight faculties of Arts, Science, Islamic Studies, Pharmacy, Management, and Administrative Sciences, Law, Education, and Medicine. Out of 503 candidates, only 20% or 104 candidates passed the entrance test for the Master’s program and the remaining 396 candidates failed. The entrance test for the Masters’s program was for 355 seats in 6 different fields.
At present, the enrolment of regular students at the Campus is slightly over 41,000 (Approximately) as of 30/06/2018. There are over 700 teachers and more than 2100 supporting staff.

KU B.A/B.Com registration Schedule
Karachi University today is the biggest university in the country. It comprises eight faculties with which all the colleges of the city are affiliated. According to further details of Eichler and Masters program entrance test results, no candidate could get more than 90 marks in the test while there are 2 candidates whose marks are zero. Only 14 candidates got 81 to 90 marks, 184 candidates. There are those who got 71 to 80 marks, 742 candidates got 61 to 70 marks.
There are 1771 candidates who have passed with marks between 51 and 60 marks, while candidates with 41 to 50 marks have 3051 marks and those with 31 to 40 marks have 3375 candidates. Similarly, candidates with 21 to 30 marks have 1321 marks. There are 117 candidates with 11 to 20 marks and 16 candidates with 1 to 10 marks
