State Bank of Pakistan has released a video explaining the easy way to deliver a fake note of 1000 rupees. After the news of fake currency notes of Rs 1000 being circulated in the country, the State Bank has released a special video for public awareness, in which the method of delivery of the fake notes has been explained.

Most fake notes of 1 thousand rupees are in circulation in the country. Qadir Bahsh said that in the last 2 years, 20 thousand currency notes of fake notes have been caught from all over the country, security agencies have seized 35 thousand fake currency notes from different banks. 60 to 70 percent of these fake notes are of one thousand rupees.

For the last one year, no complaint of fake notes from any ATM has been made to the central bank, if a fake note comes out of any bank’s ATM, it will be fined 100% of the currency note value. The CCTV video of the note inserted in the M-machine must be kept for 90 days.
