Technology company Google introduced its two new smartphones Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. Google has introduced several interesting features in the devices, including a 50-megapixel main camera, a built-in thermometer and a new ‘Best Tech’ tool. Google has introduced new models of its smartphone series Pixel ‘Pixel 8’ and ‘Pixel 8 Pro’. The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro have been introduced with updates to the operating system ‘Android’ for 7 years and a temperature sensor. Both the models have almost the same features except for the size, battery capacity, RAM, and storage.
Google Smartphones Pixel 8 & Pixel 8 Pro Features
The Pixel 8 has a 4575 mAh battery while the Pixel 8 Pro has a 5050 mAh battery. Both batteries have a life of more than 24 hours. Both models have Google Tensor G3 Chipset, Nona Core (1×3.0 GHz Cortex-X3 & 4×2.45 GHz Cortex-A715 & 4×2.15 GHz Cortex-A510) CPU, Immortlis G715SMC 10, Operating System Android 14 and 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G network support is provided. Pixel 8 has 8GB of RAM and Pro has 12GB. Similarly, the Pixel 8 has 128GB and 256GB of storage while the Pro has 128, 256, 512GB and 1TB. Both have a 50-megapixel main camera. The Pro’s main camera also offers some additional features. The front camera is 10.5 megapixels in both.
Camera
The main camera of both the phones has been kept at 50 megapixels while the second camera and ultra-wide camera of the Pixel 8 have been updated with autofocus feature. On the other hand, all the cameras in the Pixel 8 Pro have been improved.
Display
The display of the new Pixel 8 is 6.2 inches while the display of the Pixel 8 Pro is 6.7 inches.
The new Tensor G3 processor is installed in the phone which means users will now be able to use the facial recognition feature for app sign-in and money payments. Users will also be able to use several new editing tools in the phone. One of the most interesting tools is ‘Best Tech’, which is designed to improve group photos. This feature automatically combines similar photos so that all the people in the final photo look appropriate. While the Magic Editor tool can completely change the location of a person in a photo using artificial intelligence.

The Pixel 8 has a 4,575 mAh battery and the Pro has a 5,500 mAh battery. Both the models also feature wireless charging. Pixel 8 is priced at $700 (roughly Rs. 1,95,000) and Pixel 8 Pro is priced at $1,000 (roughly Rs. 2,79,000).
