Eid ul Fitr Holiday in Pakistan Notification 2023

The federal government has announced Five holidays on Eid-ul-Fitr. The Eid holidays will begin on Friday, April 21, while the last holiday will be on Tuesday, April 25.

If Eid falls on Friday, there is a possibility of holidays from April 20 to April 23, while if Eid falls on Saturday, April 22, holidays may be announced from April 20 to April 24. Cabinet Division will issue a notification after the formal approval of the Prime Minister.

Eid ul Fitr Holidays In Sindh Notification

The Secretary General of Rawit Hilal Research Council, Khalid Ijaz Mufti, said that the moon of Eid-ul-Fitr will not be visible on the evening of April 20, so Ramadan will be thirty days long and Eid is likely to be celebrated on Saturday, April 22.

According to the notification, there will be no Eid holidays in Corona Emergency Duty personnel and institutions.

The UAE government announced the dates of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr two months ago, according to which Ramadan will begin on April 24 and Eid-ul-Fitr on May 24 in all Gulf countries, including the UAE.

Punjab government has announced 5 holidays on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. During These Holidays all Businesses, Public Places, Community Market and shops, etc will remain closed. Only essential Items shops and medical services /medical stores as already notified will remain open.
