BISP Sahulat Account Eligibility, Facilities and Apply Online

All the banks across the country and social welfare payments opened in MF businesses can be deposited in their BISP Sahulat Account Eligibility, Facilities and Apply Online under the State Bank of Pakistan’s Benazir Income Support Program.

Social Security Accounts were issued under the Benazir Income Support Program. Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif distributed social security account kits among eligible women of BISP.

BISP beneficiaries will be able to open a “BISP Sahulat Account” in a single visit to the designated bank branch within their vicinity. The BISP has mapped its beneficiaries with a bank branch in the vicinity of the beneficiaries.

Eligible women will have the right to switch banks and unlike social security bank accounts, the program will bring transparency. Benazir Income Support Program is a non-political program providing financial support to deserving women on equal basis, this program has achieved many success stories in 15 years.

In the initial stages, aid payments were made through post office, smart card and debit card. The government of Pakistan has increased the budget of the Benazir Income Support Program by 72% in a short period of one year and 5 months. It has become 90 lakhs.

Money is being distributed to 90 lakh registered households under Benazir Kafalat. 9000 per household is being given in the current quarterly installment from April to June. Along with special sponsorship, special educational scholarships are also being given to the children of registered families. 70% school attendance is mandatory for availing scholarships.

The Benazir Income Support Program is also releasing the fourth quarterly installment of Benazir Kafal for the financial year 2022-23 and so far more than Rs.69 billion has been distributed to more than 7.7 million deserving women.

 

In 2022, the quarterly stipend of Benazir Kafalat was Rs 7,000 per family, which was increased to Rs 8,750 after a 25% increase on the special instructions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

The number of children enrolled under Benazir Education Scholarships was 2.6 million in 2022 and now 7.52 million children are receiving education scholarships. 770 thousand mothers and their children are benefiting from Benazir Development Program 2024.

Now the quarterly stipend is Rs 8,750 instead of Rs 7,000, while the enrollment of Benazir education scholarships increased from 2,6 lakh to 7,052,000. In the new financial year, 3 lakh more families will be added to Benazir Kafalat to 93 lakh, enrollment in educational scholarships will be increased from 75 lakh 52 thousand to 92 lakh, the number of registration in Benazir Development will increase from 7 lakh 70 thousand. There is a plan to take it up to 15 lakhs.

BISP Benazir Social Protection Accounts Eligibility

16.3 billion rupees were distributed to 8.3 million families under the fuel subsidy program and 70 billion rupees were distributed to 2.8 million flood affected families in the last year’s floods through Benaziran Income Support Program.

In the pilot phase, social security accounts have been started in Sukkur, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, North Waziristan, DI Khan and Sanghar. Through this initiative, the eligible women will have the right to choose the bank, which includes the facility of check books and debit cards, the eligible women will also have the option to switch banks.

70 billion rupees were distributed among 28 lakh flood victims at the rate of 25 thousand per family. Apart from this, the number of students receiving undergraduate degrees has been increased from 82,000 to 92,000.
