Distribution of scholarships under Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) will remain suspended on Saturday and Sunday. Keeping in view the heat wave across the country, the distribution of funds has been temporarily stopped. The distribution of scholarships will resume from Monday, June 26. Distribution of stipends will be done only in the camps established by Benazir Income Support Program. Disbursement of scholarships will continue today through bank retailers, the disbursement of scholarships will remain suspended during the Eid-ul-Adha holidays.
Benazir Waseela-e Taleem Program 2023 Online Registration
Educational scholarships are also being given to the children of families registered with Benazir sponsorship for which 70% school attendance is mandatory. At the primary level, female students are given Rs 2000 and male students are given Rs 1500. 3000 and 2500 rupees are paid to students and students at secondary level respectively while at higher secondary level 4000 and 3500 rupees are paid to students and students respectively. Along with special sponsorship, special educational scholarships are also being given to the children of registered families.
In the last five days, about 26 billion rupees have been distributed to 29 lakh women. Complaints can be reported immediately on BISP’s toll-free helpline 26477-0800. The registered beneficiaries have been requested to receive the full amount of Rs.9000 along with the payment receipt. He has issued instructions to the concerned authorities to ensure transparency through strict monitoring and vigilance.
The Benazir Income Support Program Board (BISPB) has formally approved the inclusion of transgender (eunuchs) including first-year and second-year students in the Wasila Education Program.
Admission waseela e taleem ehsas
Children between the ages of 4 and 22 from all Ehsas eligible families can apply for Ehsas School Scholarship. First-year and second-year students will be given a stipend of Rs. 3500 on a quarterly basis, while 11th and twelfth-year students will be given a stipend of Rs. 4000 on a quarterly basis by joining the program. Five billion rupees will be allocated for this.
In case of any complaint, the beneficiaries should immediately report to the BISP toll free helpline 26477-0800 and inform the BISP officer posted at the camp site to ensure transparent distribution of cash.
Ehsaas waseela e Taleem online registration
The federal government has included secondary education in the Ehsas Wasila Education Program. The board also formally approved Rs 2,500 on a quarterly basis for secondary school children and Rs 3,000 for girls. According to Dr. Sania Nishtar, there are currently 18.7 million children between the ages of 6 and 16 in the country who live out of school.
How to apply for waseela Taleem program
The ministry has set a target of enrolling 9 million out-of-school children in the resource education program by 2024. In this regard, it has been decided to include the children pursuing secondary education after primary education in the resource education program. First-year and second-year students get Rs. 3500 on a quarterly basis while first-year and second-year students get Rs. 4000 per person. Eunuchs have also been formally approved for inclusion in the Ehsas Kifalat program. All ID cardholders will join the transgender Ehsas Kifalat program which will be awarded Rs 2,000 on a monthly basis.
The ministry has also decided to give a bonus of Rs 3,000 to girls on completion of primary education. Sources said that under the Wasila Education Program, 3.4 million primary school children are currently enrolled in schools, out of which each child is being given Rs 1,500 on a quarterly basis while each girl is being given Rs 2,000.
Enrollment is underway to enroll deserving primary school children in scholarships under the Ehsaas Waseela-e-Taleem Program. Waseela e Taleem Digital is a conditional cash transfer CCT program under the umbrella of Ehsaas for school-going children in primary education. The program has been scaled up nationwide, made end-to-end digital & girls get a higher stipend amount. Under the Ehsas Educational Scholarship Program, 5 children aged 4 to 12 years from each family will be able to benefit.
The inclusion of higher secondary education in the Waseela Education Program will benefit 700,000 students for whom Rs 5 billion will be allocated for the next financial year.
Benazir Waseela-e Taleem Program Online Registration
Under the Wasila E Taleem Program, 1500 rupees are being given to primary class children per month while 2000 rupees are being given to girls. Now, under this program, 2500 rupees per quarter will be given to secondary school children while 3000 rupees will be given to girls. Higher secondary class children will be given 3500 rupees per quarter while girls will be given 4000 rupees. An additional amount of Rs 3,000 will also be given to the girls on passing the fifth class.

Under the Benazir Undergraduate Scholarship Program, 82,000 scholarships were awarded in 2022 and 92,003 undergraduate students were awarded scholarships in 2023. The current disbursement system of the Benazir Income Support Program has faced problems due to its dependence on two banks and their agents, which has led to complaints. The new model aims to increase the dignity and transparency of deserving women. Under this system, eligible women will be able to choose the bank of their choice.
