Baisakhi Festival Celebration in Pakistan

The Government of Punjab has announced the official observance of the Baisakhi celebration. The Government of Pakistan has issued visas to 3,000 Indian Sikh pilgrims to participate in the Baisakhi festival.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will visit Gurdwara Kartarpur on October 18. The festival includes processions, singing and chanting of hymns, and community fairs. Special prayers are offered.

Sikh pilgrims coming to Pakistan will carry the message of peace and love, all possible arrangements will be ensured for Sikh pilgrims, Pakistan is the safest country for all minorities, and technology will be used to allocate rooms to Sikh pilgrims.
