Government Medical Colleges of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJ&K) and Reserved Seats for AJ&K Nationals in Pakistan, Session 2023-2024. Applications are invited from eligible (First Class State Subject) candidates for admission to First Year MBBS and BDS against reserved seats for AJ&K Nationals. Refugees 1947 and Refugees 19B9 (conditions apply), in the Public Sector Medical dental Colleges of Pakistan (Punjab. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Balochistan & Sindh) and Public Sector Medical Colleges of AJ&K. Admissions will be made strictly on merit basis as per Admission Policy of AJ&K Government in vogue. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. (i) The applicant has passed HSSC/ F.Sc (Pre-Merfical) or equivalent examination with minimum 60 per cent (660’1100) marks. All appbcants mention their Total Marks and obtained marks.
2. (ii) The applicant has passed the National MDCAT-2023. with minimum 55 percent for MBBS and 50 percent for All students, must have qualified the MDCAT 2023. The result of MDCAT-2022 is no longer valid for seeking admission in session 2023 which was already mentioned on the individual result certificates. Provided that the mandatory requirement of MDCAT shall not apply to students seeking admission on a special program seat predefined exclusively for foreign students and on the seats reserved for overseas Pakistanis. Such students shall qualify SAT-II with minimum score of 550 in each subject or a foreign MC AT examination or UCAT examination with 50% marks in the subjects as prescribed in PM&DC Regulation.

MERIT CALCULATION
(i) The weighlage criteria for calculation of Aggregate Percentage will be as follows:
SSC/MatnculatiOfVEquivalent – 10%
HSSC/F.Sc Pre-Merfcat/ Equivalent – 40%
MDCAT – 50%
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
a. Online Application Process:
(i) The application process shall be completely onhne and no manual or paper-based application shall be accepted.
(ii) For filling the online application form, the candidate shall have to first register on the web portal at
https: Vmcadmissions.admln.gok.pklogln using his/her -mail 10 and a password
(ik) Once the candidate has logged in. he/she will enter his/her profile information (Name. Domicile. Marks, etc.). After making all entries, the candidate wil be required to upload his/her scanned mandatory original documents (State Subject Class-1. Domicile. PRC. CNIC. differently a Wed persons Certificate in case of any Differently Abled. photograph, signatures, left thumb impression (LTI) and Challan as per the list provided on the website.
Note: Refugees 1947 and 1989 are exempted from Permanent Residency Certificate (PRC). Refugees 1989 are exempted from Domicile Certificate: they are required to up load Refugee Card in place of
Domicile.

(i) Candidates having different abilities are directed to appear before the specialist of their different abilities one-day advance (i.e 1st November 2023) of the schedule date disability board held at respective hospitals (i.e CMH and AIMS)
(ii) After notification and communication of decision of the Disparity Board, appeal against the decision of Disability Board could be made to the Secretary Health, within five working days. No appeal shall be entertained thereafter.
(iii) Any candidate found to have submitted for gedlak& labricated documents or incorrect/false information shall be debarred from admission for a period of 7 years
(iv) Candidates are advised to enter their correct and active cell number and e-mail in their applications.
(v) Incomplete applicants or those submitted in violation of the prescribed procedure shall be rejected. It shall be the responsibility of the candidate to submit complete application as per the given instructions.
(vi) Candidates having foreign qualifications such as A’O Level, etc., shall have to upload the Equivalence Certificate issued by IBCC otherwise their applications shall be rejected
(vii) The selected candidates are directed to deposit their original SSC & FSc Certificate/Resuft Card to the concerned college duly attested by IBCC
(via) The scan copies of original required documents must be uploaded, scan copies of any photo-state documents are not acceptable
(a) Receipts of documents under-preparation (e g.. State Subject. Domicile. PRC. equivalence Certificate, etc.) shall not be acceptable.
(x) The Mangla dame affectees applied agamst Refugee 1947 quota must upload the proof duly signed by Commissioner Mangia regarding Mangia dame affectees.
(xi) No separate call letter wti be issued to any candidate for Medical Board, persons having different abilities.
(xii) Candidates are required to upload MDCAT results received from PM&DC.
(xiii) After the last date of submission of application. MDCAT Result, board results, increase in marks, any other document, shall not be acceptable.
(xiv) As per Admission Policy GoAJK. any candidate (AJ&K State Subjects), who is selected on Open Merit of any public sector medical college of Pakistan, shall avail that seat He / She will not be efcgible for AJ&K seat. If any violation found out. after admission, his/her admission wil stand cancelled from the date of admission.
(xv) The candidates declared successful for admissions in Medical Colleges of Azad Jammu & Kashmir and those of Pakistan, will submit their willingness on judicial stamp paper (Rs. 100′-). witfw notified time period. Admission of those candidates, who fail to accordingly submit their wifongness. will stand cancelled and the next candidate from the merit list of the concerned distnct’category/unit. will be admitted in their place.
(xvi) No candidate shall be eligible for foreign quota seats in the public and private medical and dental institutions unless, he holds a permanent foreign nationality or is an overseas (beina a Pakistani citizen permanently resident in a foreign country) Pakistan. and who has studied and passed HSSC12′ grade examination or equivalent from outside Pakistan and is a resident of a foreign country at the time of applying for admission and possess a certificate from the institution last attended to this effect.
