Note: You can find out the last date for submission of the fee waiver form and final list from your regional office. And in case the fee is not waived, the students will have to pay the full admission fee on March 5, 2021. The following is a link to find out the location of the regional office.

If any student does not have the fee for admission in Allama Iqbal Open University, aiou provide free education to every such student through “Students Support Funds“.

The university has established 48 Regional Campuses with an associated setup of 7 Model Study Centers working across the country. The Regional Campuses provides a tutorial and academic support to the students by hiring the services of qualified tutors and resource persons. Each group of students is allocated an e-tutor within his/her Tehsil by using an automated tutor allocation system.

About 1.4 million students are studying at Allama Iqbal Open University which is the highest enrollment in Pakistan where students are being imparted education without any class system and without any discrimination.

AAGHI Learning Management System (LMS) is used as a digital platform for providing tutorial and academic support. The students upload their assignments on LMS which are evaluated by the e-Tutors with comments. The semester workshops are also conducted in an online mode using the LMS. The Regional Campuses also arrange Examinations at Tehsils and provide admission offering services to the students at their doorstep.

Allama Iqbal Open University is bringing software and digital system at a cost of Rs. 600 million and equipped with the latest technology with the help of the best companies in the world. By June 2021, the entire system will be digitized and everything from admissions to degrees will be automatically provided to students on the keyboard.
