The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore invites applications from the eligible candidates for admissions to First Year, Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programmes in the following public sector medical and dental institutions of the Punjab. There were 3,376 MBBS seats in 16 government medical colleges and 240 BDS seats in three dental colleges in the province. This year University of Health Sciences will also conduct admissions to private medical and dental colleges along with government. After the approval of the supervisory cabinet of Punjab, the Department of Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education issued a notification on Thursday. According to the admission policy, for admissions to medical and dental colleges, the share of MD CAT marks in merit will be 50%, FSC 40% and Matric 10%.
