Sindh Pink Bus Service For Women in Karachi routes

Pink Bus Service has announced the launch of two more routes in Karachi and the increase in the number of buses in the fleet of Route One. Free travel facility will be provided to women in pink bus for the first Seven days. It is our responsibility to provide environment to women to work outside the home. Seats are reserved for women in People’s Bus Service, Orange Line and Elekrak buses too. Women will bring bus service in every city of Sindh. Pink bus service has female conductors. Make an appointment for women drivers. Karachi is the first city in Pakistan where EV buses are running.

Pink bus service will be operated from Route to Power Chowrangi North Karachi to Indus Hospital Korangi via Nagan Chowrangi, Shafiq Mor, Gulshan Chowrangi, Johar Mor, COD, Drug Road, Shaara Faisal, Shah Faisal Colony, Singer Chowrangi, Korangi No. 5 . The Sindh government has decided to start a pink bus service exclusively for women in Karachi from February 1, in which male passengers will not be allowed to enter. Pink bus service will be Pakistan’s first public transport service exclusively for women. 8 buses have been procured for pink bus service in the initial phase, if the first route is successful, buses will be prepared for the second route.

Sindh Pink Bus Service For Women in Karachi route

Initially one route is from Model Colony via Shahrah Faisal, Metropole, II Chandragarh Road to Meriwether Tower while the other route will be from Meriwether Tower to District Central via Saddar which will be operated later.

On Route No. 10, pink bus will also run to Exhibition Chowrangi, MA Jinnah Road, Zeb Nisa Street, Metropole, Tin Talwar, Du Talwar, Abdullah Shah Ghazi, Dolman Mall, McDonald’s and Clock Tower Sea View. Buses will be increased on the existing route one. The Sindh government of Pakistan People’s Party is constructing 2.2 million houses in 23 districts with the support of international financial institutions, farmers are being given financial assistance of Rs.5000.

Sindh Pink bus service fare:

The women-only pink bus service will cost Rs 50 and will be launched from February 1. Buses should be run on routes 4, 5, 6 and 7 of Karachi as soon as possible. The aim is to provide modern public transport facilities to more citizens.
