the National Registration Examination (NRE) Step-1 is scheduled on 6th August 2024 for all Pakistanis graduated from foreign medical and dental institutions who are aspiring to obtain permanent licenses for practice in the country. The approved curriculum for NRE Session 2024 is available on the official website of PMD & DC www.pmdc.pk.

All Medical and Dental Practitioners wishing to pursue Post Graduate Medical and Dental Qualification in Pakistan are advised to enroll only in PMDC accredited Post Graduate Programmes. PMDC will register only those PG qualifications which are regularly inspected/reviewed and recognized by the Council and are listed in Schedule 2 of the PM&DC Act 2022.

PMDC has set performance standards and continues to work to implement them for undergraduate and postgraduate education in every medical and dental institute across Pakistan. PMDC will continue to work towards the goals set by the PM&DC Council to raise the standard of medical and dental education and licensing in Pakistan and will continue to regulate such individuals and organizations. , which do not meet the standards set by PMDC. List of recognized post graduate qualification and DAI is already available on PMDC website www.pmdc.pk.

PMD & DC NRE Step 1 Online Registration 2024

To facilitate the candidates, the examination will be held at four (04) locations simultaneously i.e. Rawalpindi/ Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar. All aspiring candidates who have the PM&DC/PMC provisional license are requested to visit the website for the upcoming NRE Step-1 examination as per section 18 of the PM&DC Act 2022. Furthermore, the registration portal of National Registration Examination (NRE) Step-1 will be open for 15 days starting from 3^rd to 18^th July, 2024.
