PM & DC MDCAT-2023 Examination Schedule, Online Registration, Test Date and Roll Number Slips

MD CAT Syllabus will be uploaded on PM&DC website next week. Last year around 180534 students appeared for the exam. According to an estimate, around two lakh students are expected to appear in the exam this year. Bright future of students is our first priority. All universities have been directed to ensure transparency in the admission process. All prospective students are advised in their own interest, to apply for admission in MBBS and BDS programs in only those colleges which are recognized by the PM&DC. All medical and dental colleges/institutions are advised to strictly follow the rules & regulations of the PM&DC before commencing any medical or dental program or admission as per allocated seals specified by the Council. In case of any violation. PM&DC’ shall take penal action as per provisions of the PM&DC Act, 2022. All over the country the MD CAT test will be held on September 10 and no exam will be held after that.

The paper-based exam will be conducted simultaneously at all Centers/Venues.

The test will be conducted simultaneously at all Local Exam Centres; at 1000 hours (10AM) PST Time for the test at International Centres will be indicated on the admit card. Basic Qualification/Eligibility:

1. Any person (Pakistani/Overseas Pakistani) shall be eligible to register for and attempt the MDCAT examination.
2. Candidates are required to upload 1st Year F.Sc (Pre-Medical) Marks Sheet / DMC while submitting their details on the PM&DC MDCAT Exam Registration Portal.
3. In case of 0 & A level, the candidate is required to upload 0 & A level transcript & actual continuation letter from the respective college.
4. A candidate is permitted to take the MDCAT exam only once in each calendar year

Validity of MDCAT Result:

1. A candidate’s MDCAT result shall be valid for a period of three years from the date of the exam.
2. Results of MDCAT 2022 are no longer valid for admission this year.
3. If a person retakes the MDCAT exam during this period, the person may use the highest attained result to apply to a medical or dental college.

Entry Test Cities/Stations: MDCAT-2024 will be conducted at following cities/stations (depending upon the viable number of applicants.

Choice of local Centre: The candidates are directed to choose one city/station mentioned above in order of preference for appearance in the entry test. The candidates are advised for their own convenience to choose city/station nearest to their residence. City/station once selected can not be changed.

Pattern of MDCAT- 2024

The MDCAT exam will be a multiple-choice, paper-based exam conducted in the English language. It will consist of 200 MCQs according to the following weightage:
