Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif will launch reforms in Pakistan Education Endowment Fund and National Curriculum in Islamabad today. In the style of the Punjab Education Endowment Fund, the Prime Minister directed the establishment of the Pakistan Endowment Fund, which is being implemented today. This year, 12,000 talented and deserving students will benefit from this fund. In which 50 percent quota has been reserved for women. Merit scholarships of 10 billion rupees will be given from this fund in the next four years.
The Prime Minister will also start the inclusion of the Constitution of Pakistan and computer coding in the national curriculum today. This will not only make the new generation of Pakistan aware of their fundamental rights assigned in the constitution, but also by acquiring modern skills like coding, they will be able to get better employment opportunities compared to the international workforce. It was also approved to establish Pakistan Endowment Fund for Education on the pattern of Punjab Endowment Fund. Scholarships will be given to intelligent but poor students across the country from this fund. A substantial amount has been allocated for the Prime Minister’s Youth Program for giving small loans to the youth, resources have been kept in the budget to teach the youth various skills including IT.

Funds have been earmarked to bring youth into the field of sports and encourage sports activities, money has been earmarked for financial empowerment of women. Scholarships under the endowment fund will be given in various disciplines including nursing, engineering and social sciences.
