Online Temporary Registration System of Mobile Phones For Overseas Pakistanis

ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister has inaugurated the temporary registration system of mobile phones for overseas Pakistanis. Overseas Pakistanis will be able to save their phones from being blocked by temporarily registering their phones after their stay of more than two months. For this facility, they have to do temporary registration and state that their stay in the country will be temporary, otherwise they will have to register mobile phone IMEI and pay tax after the period is over. Overseas Pakistanis & Foreign Nationals visiting Pakistan can now register & use their personal mobile phone for 120 days (from date of arrival) on each visit without payment of duties and taxes.

Online Temporary Mobile Registration System for Overseas Pakistanis function is held in Islamabad. Officials of PTA, IT, Department of Overseas Pakistanis and other relevant ministries were present in the ceremony. This facility has been provided on the identification of overseas Pakistanis, through which overseas Pakistanis will be given 120 days instead of 60 days to register their phone while staying temporarily in the country.

Online Temporary Mobile Registration System Apply Online

The automated system will prevent IMEI from being blocked on the mobile phones of Pakistanis and foreigners on temporary visits to Pakistan. If overseas Pakistanis return home temporarily for some time, their mobile phones will not be blocked within two months after registration of mobile phones in this system. Overseas Pakistanis will get this facility sitting at home, their mobile phone registration can be extended in case of their stay for more than two months, if they need extension for more than two months, they should get it easily.

Passport with valid immigration entry stamp.
CNIC/ NICOP (required for overseas Pakistanis)
