National Presidential Iqbal Award is a literary award which is presented by Iqbal Academy Pakistan with the approval of the President of Pakistan. The award is conferred for the best books written on national poet-philosopher Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s life and ideology in national and foreign languages.

The Presidential Iqbal Award is given every year to Urdu books by Pakistani authors and every three years to books in English and Pakistani languages, to encourage work on various aspects of the lile, poetry and thought of the National Poet of Pakistan, Allama Muhammad Iqbal. The award consists of a medal and a cash prize.

Authors and publishers ol Urdu books published on Allama Iqbal from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 202.3 and English, Punjabi, Sindhi, Balochi, Pashto, Kashmiri, Brahvi, Saraiki, Bald, Khowar and Hindko books published on Allama Iqbal from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2023 are requested to send two copies of their published books to the undersigned by February 15, 2024 or contact the Academics Section ol Iqbal Academy Pakistan. Books received alter this date will not be considered and such books will not be included in the compedtion.
