The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a flagship project of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), has made significant strides in Pakistan over the past decade. As we commemorate the 10th anniversary of BRI and CPEC, it is crucial to spotlight the positive transformations it has brought to Pakistan. In light of this milestone, the Pakistan-China Institute (PCI) is proud to announce the celebration of CPEC’s 10th anniversary through a nationwide photography competition. This competition aims to capture the essence and impact of CPEC and other Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) projects in Pakistan, using the lenses of talented photographers to showcase their progress. Last date to Send Your Phots is 7th October 2023.

THEME
The photography competition’s central theme revolves around CPEC projects in Pakistan, focusing on their profound impact on the economy, infrastructure, and environment.

Categories:

Infrastructure and Development: Photographs depicting the physical infrastructure and development projects under CPEC.
People and Stories: Images that narrate the stories of individuals or communities that have benefited from CPEC projects.
Environmental Impact: Photos highlighting the environmental aspects and sustainability of CPEC projects.

Prizes:

1st Prize 100,000/- One Prize

2nd Prize 80,000/- Three Prizes

3rd Prize 50,000/- Six prizes

RULES AND REGULATIONS

The competition is open to both amateur and professional photographers of all ages residing in Pakistan Participants must capture CPEC-related subjects within Pakistan. Submissions must include a scanned copy of the participant’s passport and/or CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) and contact details, along with the photo in JPG format. Each submitted photo should be accompanied by the photographer’s name and email address. When submitting photos, use my photo as the subject
line & email. Any form of deception will result in disqualification Pakistan-China Institute reserves the right to publish the top photos submitted.
