KARACHI: The results of Medical and Dental College Admission MDCAT Test 2023 have been announced. The MDCAT test was held on September 13 for admissions in medical and dental colleges across the country. The test will start at 11:00 am and end at 02:30 pm. An average private university charges medical students more than Rs 50 lakh in fees while the government provides the same education for less than Rs 10 lakh, thus costing the government at least Rs 40 lakh to produce a doctor. Excess subsidy has to be given.

DUHS MDCAT 2023 Registration, Test Date, Result

In compliance to the Admission Regulations 2022 of Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC), DUHS shall conduct MDCAT for admissions in MBBS / BDS program session 2023-24 in Public and Private Sector Medical Universities / Colleges of Sindh Province on 13th November 2023.

Duration of test shall be 03 Hrs 30 Minutes 11:00 am to 02:30 pm. It shall be simultaneously conducted in following cities of Sindh Province. 45 thousand 640 male and female students participated in the test while the success rate among the candidates was 63 percent. 219 students’ papers were also canceled for copying during the exam.

NOTE : Test shall be conducted as per PMC regulations 2022. Candidates are advised to download the admit card through website www.admissions.duhs.edu.pk from Monday 7th November 2022. Candidates must bring colored print out of the admit card with them; without admit card candidates will NOT be allowed in the test centre.
