Students securing 55% marks in medical and 45% marks in dental will be eligible for admission in medical and dental colleges. The ranking of the top medical schools in Asia includes Dow University.

Dow Medical University MBBS/BDS MDCAT Test Answer keys 2023
The entrance test of medical, dental colleges and universities across Sindh is being held once again today. The time of admission of the candidates to the examination centers was from 7 am to 9 am, while the duration of the exam will be from 10:30 am to 2 pm. 41 thousand candidates will appear in the MD CAT test for 3600 MBBS and 1190 BDS seats, 15 thousand candidates from Karachi and 13 thousand candidates from Jamshoro are participating in the test.
Besides, 4 thousand from Nawab Shah. And 9,000 candidates from Larkana are participating in the test, very strict security arrangements have been made on the occasion of the test. According to the administration, the papers of those who bring electronic devices including mobile phones to the examination centers will be cancelled.
350 MBBS seats in Dow Medical College Karachi, 150 MBBS seats in Dow International Medical College, 350 MBBS seats in Jinnah Sindh Medical University, MBBS in Liaquat Medical University Jamshwar 350 seats, 250 MBBS seats in KMD College C, 250 MBBS seats in Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Chandka Medical College Larkana, 250 seats in People’s Women Nawab Shah Medical College, 100 seats in Khairpur Medical College. Seats, 100 seats are allotted in Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Lyari Medical College, 100 seats in Ghulam Mohammad Mehr Medical College Sukkur, 100 seats in Gambit Medical College and 100 seats in Bilal Medical College for Boys. MBBS and BDS academic session will start in January 2023.
10th September 2023 Under the supervision of Jinnah Sindh Medical University, the test was conducted for MBBS and BDS admissions in medical colleges and universities across Sindh. In total, more than 40,000 candidates participated in the test for 1700 open merit seats. More than 10,000 candidates participated in the examination center established in University of Karachi while more than 5,000 candidates participated in Dow University Ojha campus.
A total of 40,535 students was Participated in the test, out of whom 15,191 candidates are from Karachi, and the test was held at Karachi University’s Maskan Ground and Dow University’s Ojha campus. The written exam was consist of 200 questions and last 3.5 hours. It was start at 10:00 am and continue until 01:30pm. Candidates would be allowed to enter the exam centres from 07:00 am until 09:00 am after which no one would be allowed to enter. Two identification documents must be brought by the candidates along with their admit cards. Watches, mobile phones, calculators, books, notes, bags, electronic devices, and pens will not be allowed in the exam centers. In case of violation, the candidate will be immediately expelled from the exam centre, and the paper will be cancelled.
Dow Medical University was responsible for conducting the test in Sindh, while UHS in Punjab, BMC in Balochistan, Khyber Medical University in KPK and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University in Islamabad were responsible for conducting the test. About 204,253 candidates participated in the MD CAT test for admission to 21,000 seats in medical and dental colleges across the country, including Karachi.
