ISLAMABAD: Atlas Honda has announced the introduction of electric bike “e Benly” on completion of 60 years of business in Pakistan. Atlas Honda manufactures 95% of its parts locally and the company has built the largest network of parts manufacturers and dealers in Pakistan.

The Japanese brand Honda celebrated 60 years of business in Pakistan in a ceremony held at its factory in Sheikhupura. The special event organized to commemorate the occasion was attended by Executive Vice President Honda Motor Company Shinji Ioyama, Chief Officer Motorcycle and Power Products Noriyaki Abe and Asian Honda Motor Company President and CEO Toshiokawahara.

Noriyaki Abe, Chief Officer, Motorcycle and Power Products, Atlas Honda, announced the introduction of Honda’s electric motorcycle Honda “e-Benley” in Pakistan on a trial basis and said that Honda products will become part of the daily life of a large segment of the population of Pakistan. Now, Honda is planning to introduce new products according to the needs of the Pakistani society and consumers by understanding their feedback.

Executive Vice President Honda Motor Company Shinji Ioyama paid tribute to the efforts of Honda in Pakistan to the Atlas Group, Atlas Honda Associates, dealers and auto parts manufacturers in expanding Honda’s business in Pakistan.
