PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has launched the ‘Insaf Rozgar Scheme’ in the tribal district. Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has formally inaugurated the Insaf Rozgar Scheme in merged tribal District Mohmand under which interest-free loans up to Rs 10 Lakh will be provided to local residents to help eradicate unemployment and poverty in the terrorism affected areas of the newly merged tribal districts.

Local Residents of Newly merged Districts of KPK
Valid NIC
Age-18 to 50 years
In-Eligibility:
Government Employees
Regular Students
Already Loan Holder
Professionally Educated and skilled:
Loan Amount: Max. Rs. 1.0M per client according to a business plan.
Skilled (Informal/ Semi-informal) individuals:
Loan Amount: Max. Rs. 0.500 m per client according to the business plan.
Women
Skilled women: Max. Rs. 1.00M depending on business plan viability.
General/Informal: Max Rs. 0.300M depending on business viability.
Others
Loan Amount: Rs. 50,000/- up to Rs. 300,000/-

In this scheme, the youth of the merged tribal districts will be provided interest-free loans through the Bank of Khyber (BoK) for starting their own business. He said an amount of Rs2 billion will be allocated for the scheme. He said the loans will be paid to the tribal youth under the scheme in a phased manner. under the Rozgar scheme, skilled and degree-holding unemployed people in the age group of 18 to 50 years would get interested free loans from 50,000 to Rs 1 million. Technical people would get from Rs50,000 to Rs0.5 million whereas others would get Rs.50000 to Rs.0.3 million for initiating their businesses.

The 1st phase of the scheme has started in the below-mentioned stations. whereas the scheme shall be launched in remaining newly merged districts such as Waziristan (North & South), Bajaur, FR Tank, FR Bannu, FR Laki Marwat, and FR DI Khan in the next phase after May 15, 2022.
