Zilhaj Moon Sighting in Pakistan

Islamabad: According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted that Zilhaj Moon will be Sighted in Pakistan on 21st July 2020 and the Eidul Azha will cerebrate on Friday 31st July 2020.

A meeting of the Central Route Hilal Committee is being held today to observe the new moon of Dhu al-Hijjah, while Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has predicted the sighting of the new moon today.

Zilhaj Moon Sighting in Pakistan

Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Chairman, is holding the main meeting of the Ruwit-e-Hilal Committee in Karachi today after Asr prayers.Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has claimed in his tweet that the new moon of Zul-Hijjah 1441 AH has been born.

The new moon of Zilhaj 1441 AH will be born on crossing conjunction point at 22:33 Pakistan Standard Time (PST) on 20 July (Monday).The moon of Zilhaj is not sighted in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries and the first Dhul-Hijjah will start on July 22, 2020.The Hajj rituals will start from July 28, 2020. The day of Arafa will be on July 30 while Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on July 31, 2020. A two-week holiday has been announced in Saudi Arabia on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. The Eid holiday for government employees, which starts on July 23, will continue till August 8, while the private sector will get four days off from July 29 to August 2.

According to the Ministry of Manpower and Social Welfare, employees who take these holidays during the weekly holidays will have to take leave before or after the special holidays in return.
Eid al-Adha is expected to take place on Friday, July 31, according to a member of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Science.

Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Mufti Muneebur Rehman will announced the News of Zilhaj Moon Sighting in Pakistan and date of Eid ul Azha 2020. Eid ul Adha 2020/Bakra Eid 2020 will be celebrate in Pakistan on Friday 31st July 2020.
