Karachi: Surprising results of the admission test conducted for the year 2024 under Karachi University came to light. Students of many education boards of the country failed in the entrance test despite getting A-one grade with more than 90% marks in Intermediate and Larkana Board emerged as the only board of education in the country whose students got more than 90% marks in Inter. Despite getting it, they failed the entrance test of Karachi University.

The University of Karachi has announced the results of the BSc (Pass) first year and second year annual examinations for the year 2022. According to the results, 107 students participated in the BSC first year examinations, 67 students were declared successful while 40 students failed. The success rate was 62.62 percent, 816 students participated in the BSc second year exams, 93 students got first division, 298 students got second division and one student was declared successful in third division, the success ratio was 48.04 percent.

Only 2.9% of students who got more than 90% marks in Inter from Larkana Board passed this test while the remaining 97.1 students failed. A total of 235 students of this board participated in the test who did A-one grade with more than 90% marks. Out of them, 7 passed the test. Students of the Larkana board who failed the test with other grades are also in addition. The overall result of this board in the test is 5%

Under Cambridge, there were 33 A-grade students with 80% to 90% marks in A level, out of which 29 passed, while 2 Cambridge students who took A-1 with more than 90% marks participated in the test. And both passed the test. Cambridge’s overall result is 70%. under Aga Khan Board, 15 students participated in the test with more than 90% marks and 14 passed and the result of those students who got more than 90% marks is 93%. Aga Khan Board’s overall result is 48%.

Out of 24 students who took the test with more than 90% marks from Federal Board, 15 students passed. The result was 62%. The overall result of Federal Board is 24%.
